Course Overview

A rigorous extension club focused on tackling challenging physics problems. Students will develop advanced problem-solving skills through structured discussion, independent thinking, and exposure to demanding questions, building the depth and confidence required for competitive university applications and entrance assessments.

Physics and Maths at AL or IB are essential.

  1. Understanding the ESAT format and expectations
  2. Developing fluency in non-calculator problem solving
  3. Mastery and flexible use of key formulae
  4. Logical problem-solving: structuring solutions and selecting starting equations
  5. Building confidence in interview-style thinking and communication, including how to seek guidance effectively
  6. Collaborative learning: developing a supportive, high-performing group culture
  7. Practice using interview-style platforms and question formats
  8. Introduction to and use of ESAT Ninja as a preparation tool and question bank
